    3. Thanks George! Using the URl you provided, I sent email to the Med Examiner, and got a reply right back. Here's what they said: "Dear Ms. Hamid, General registry records are available back to 1906. They consist of a double sided large page where an inquest verdict is recorded (as well as a short report of events surrounding death, next of kin, disposition etc) but we do not have either autopsy or transcripts available as far back as 1925. You can view the record here at the office M-F between 8am and 4pm; please call us in advance (415-553-1694) so that we can pull the record out of archives. A certified copy of the report is available for $30. which you can send to the Office of the Medical Examiner, 850 Bryant Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Charles Newman Administrator" I sent my $30 for the record. Linda You check out this site and it will tell you how to order the report, but before ordering it I would call and be sure they have one that old. <http://www.sfgov.org/med_examiner/> The other thing to check would be the papers for that time and see if there was a story on his death. What was his name?
