    3. Hello: I know at one time the San Francisco library looked up obituaries for free. Does anyone know if they still do this, and if so, what is the URL for it or email address? Thanks, Josh Brown _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com

    3. SF obits The San Francisco Public Library is no longer processing obituary lookups for patrons residing outside of California. The California State Library in Sacramento will loan newspaper microfilm to another library. They will not loan microfilm to individuals directly. Patrons must request the microfilmthrough their local library's Interlibrary Loan program, The California State Library will not perform obituary searches; however, they will send patrons a list of private researchers who will perform on-demand searches for a fee.
