    1. [CASANFRA] Finally found!!!! Some good and bad news
    2. ADRIENNE STEFANIK
    3. Hello everyone! My computer is down for a week. I am at library to check e mails. I hope I can get my computer back this weekend or next week. I was gone to LDS in look up deeply for Antone and Amelia Silva on Tues to Thurs previously. Let me explain my thoughts state strangely for some months and a year. At first, I forgot about children'mention about SF and SP if I found 1880 already for a while even though it is right one. It made sense to me now when I got all information back clearly at last previously. I don't know how to explain my situation but it is really odd for me. My great grandmother Jennie's sister Maria Silva Davis'death record shows mother Amelia with detach and father Antone Silvia. Jennie's death record shows father Antone Silva only and leave blank for mother. I have had been worked on census for a year and almost gave up at LDS previously! I almost left. I found it one hour later before I left for home. At first, I found 1880 census for Jennie's family last year. I had doubts about it for a year because of names, times and children's records. My cousin's oral interview paper work shows little different but it is really close enough. My sense and thoughts grew stronger. It made sense to me now. It is really clear now that 1880 census which it is the right family definetely. It is really strange enough for me now! Yes, I was very excited for a month but it became very difficult this week for me. It is almost complete but it is half. All children of Jennie and some children of Maria mentioned that they were born in SF. Just one of Jennie's oldest son said San Pedro! Thanks to him for changing my thoughts previously. I live here right now!!!! It is really strange for me. Anyway. I reviewed records carefully and lately at last. I realized that Jennie's original name was Joanna on her oldest son's baptism and delayed birth record. Oral interview paperwork shows Juanita on article(story). Juanita is a Spanish name. There is no way for Jennie's Portuguese parents called her in American and Spanish. Her parents spoke only in Portuguese language. So it made sense to me now. Therefore, Jennie's 1880 census is right family because of a name and a year of birth 1870. It is perfect match with names list Maria and Emilia. Maria's birthdate is July 1869 from census 1900. It is really close to 1868 anyway for 1880. Yes, the family names are little mixed up with Maria and Carolina's ages. I was wondering why there is another sister Carolina?! It was puzzled me for a while. At first, I understood it clearly that Antone was remarried with Rosaria. Then, he adopted Carolina and maybe Emilia. Oral interview shows that Jennie had another sister Emma--same as Emilia(Em) I know long time ago children of Jennie did not use information correctly. I wondered how Jennie's oldest son knew about San Pedro. I understood about the picture in my head clearly now. It made sense that he lived with Jennie for long time from 1900 to 1915 sometime when all boys(oldest son's 5 brothers) were in orphange. They did not pick up information enough or correctly. Only oldest son's two sisters lived with Jennie because she could take care of them at that time. A young sister went to school in San Luis Obispo. Oldest sister stayed with her like her oldest brother for their mama's support. Oldest sister died in 1923 by murder. Yes, it is sad story. I want to discuss first about my thoughts for census 1880 and share my story into new chapter below!. It is so amazing here. I have no idea about what happened to Carolina. Her descendants might be living today. I understand that Emilia(Emma)died young through oral interview. My cousin interviewed in 1972 and saved records for me years later. I started in around 1999. Her information is really close accurante about 95%. Some of it is vague and errors. It does not show list Carolina. I assume that children or Jennie forgot to mention Carolina. I have no idea. Let me show you first for 1880 census below relate my story above. Wilmington. It is nothing do with my residence! I just happened to live here! LOL. I grew up in Palos Verdes area. I assume that Jennie influenced children for making living in Los Angeles but I am not sure how. I will ask my mom about how my grandpa made decision for living in Los Angeles. He was born in Los Alamos,SB. Maria lived in San Mateo from 1885 to 1920. I pretended to say Silva as Sylva. I felt same as long Jennie was a daughter of same father Antone Silva. I felt same! It made sense to me. I felt peace about it. No children knew about where Jennie lived in San Pedro before. I assume that long time ago they might be misunderstood about San Pedro and San Francisco. I cannot say yet for sure about Jennie's birthplace. I believe she was born in San Pedro because of census 1870! I found it finally and previously!!!! Whew!!!! I cannot find 1900, 1910 and 1920. It made me sad and frustration! Antone and Amelia(Rosaria?) have been missing again. I don't know where Jennie's parents are. I assume that they moved back to SF early 1885's or 1900's because of arrange marriages for both daughters. Maria was married in 1885 in San Mateo. Jennie was married early 1890 in SF? Let me show you another one for census 1870 and see what you think!!! aaaaahhhhhh!!! Wow! Jennie travelled a lot through the years and settled at last in El Segundo and Whittier in 1933. She was so busy woman! Now, I am thinking about where her parents are!!! I will check on cemeteries in same location if possible. I have not find it yet but I am still looking for it. I don't know if they moved back from SF and died here. Wait and see. I think it is very difficult. Your encouragement is helped me! Let start with 1870 census below: page no. 18 Wilmington Township, Los Angeles August 19, 1870 Postal Office: Wilmington(Oh,postal office.. Where is it?! I will check on that area, too and take look around! LOL). Sylva Antonio 27 M W Mainer(spelling?) 200(money) Port 1 1(I don't know it is) Sylva Emily!!!!!! 23 F W At home Port 1 1(something do with birth) (same pronication Amelia!!!!) Sylva Mary! 2 M W CA Sylva Joanna! 1/12 F W CA May (birth month!) She was 1 month old at that time! But she was supposed to be 3 months old at that time. I assume that Jennie's parents did not follow calendar correctly. Ha. I thought Jennie was a daughter of Rosaria. She supposed to be a daughter of Emily instead of Rosaria???!!! Yeah, I am still looking for baptism records. I did look up films for San Gabriel Mission and Our Lady Church of Los Angeles something at LDS lately but no luck yet. I am waiting for reply from Catholic Church of Wilmington. Wilmington Church started in 1860. Hope it is listed. Jennie was born on March, 1870. Census and death record show March. She was supposed to be 3 months old at that time for 1870 census???? --- May to Aug.... Is a Mainer same as fisherman? I am making sure about it. Do you think that Mary and Jennie were born in SF and moved to San Pedro quickly? Mother was pregnant at that time when she travelled. Is that possible? Mother Emily died quickly?? Then, Antone was remarried???? What do you think!? Both census are right family. Thanks for your time to read my story and thoughts. It is so funny. I am so relief. But I am still sad about not able to find census 1900. 1900 census is really important part because I need a month, day and year for tracing back to Azores Islands. Any idea???? I am typing in library for almost 3 hours! Enjoy this. Take it home with you to read my story again for bedtime. LOL. Have a Wonderful weekend. I will keep my eyes open for new e mails this weekend or next week. Thanks in advance.
