    3. I thought I'd read on this list sometime back that some of the stones had been used for rip-rap or a water break. Still, I think it's a great idea to recover them. Someone ought to tap into one of the local monument dealers to see if they have a truck mounted crane or winch. If you could winch them closer in, you could use the crane to load them on the truck. Someone ought to find out if they could be stored or placed at a local museum and then find out the history about the name on the stone. Boy, wish I lived there. What a wonderful project.
