The dates fit very well - Richard and Alice STEWARD were married in 1871, their daughter born in 1872, and they stayed in San Francisco until 1875 when they returned to Honolulu. A relative believes that she has a picture of their daughter as a toddler taken by the same photographer, so this would match up too.
