    3. Hi Listers.... I am stumped, and I'm looking for help. Is anyone aware whether or not the name MOLLIE is a nickname for another name? In the 1900 census, my ggrandparents are found...his name was John, and her's was Mary....except that MOLLIE is written. All of the other data is correct, including her mother who was living with them. So, I do not think I have the wrong family. Any ideas appreciated..... Judie (in Virginia)

Molly/Mollie is a pet form of Mary as well as name in its own right.
