Hi, Does anyone know where I can find a SF 1880 Mortality Schedule? Is their one online yet? I'm looking for my gggm in it, Elizabeth (Rachel) McLaughlin d. April 9, 1880 I'm not even sure what info it tells on it but I thought I'd check it out since I'm looking for any tiny detail on her to break through this wall. Let me know if anyone has access to one! Thanks, Cathie
Cathie Found in the San Francisco Call April 10, 1880 pg 4 col 4: McLAUGHLIN- In this city, April 9, Elizabeth, beloved wife of John L. McLaughlin, a native of Indiana, aged 40 years and 4 months. [Boston papers please copy] Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral TO-MORROW (Sunday), at 2 O'clock P.M., from her late residence, Chenery street, off Old San Jose road, or Four Mile House. Checked the 1880-81 San Francisco City Directory, and found a John L. McLaughlin, with his residence listed a East side Chenery, near Charles, and listed as a carpenter. Hope this helps George The Schafers <[email protected]> wrote: Hi, Does anyone know where I can find a SF 1880 Mortality Schedule? Is their one online yet? A full index to the 1880 Mortality Schedule is online through Ancestry. I do not see Elizabeth in it though. Nor any other McLaughlin/Mc Laughlins in California. God Bless, Rebekah
