Michael, Bridget and Unknown Sister Lennan travelled to the USA c. 1870s. Their parents are believed to have been William Lennan and Mary O'Dwyer, all said to have been born in County Waterford, Eire. Michael and Bridget subsequently left the USA for New Zealand arriving Auckland sometime after 1876. Michael married in Auckland in 1880. The Unknown sister who remained in the US married, and in turn her married daughter Mollie Suell / Sewell Dohrmann (family spelling) is known to have visited NZ in the 1950s from the Oakland area.
