I can find Mary COLLINS in the 1910, 1920, 1930 census in Eagle Alaska where she died in 1933. Her death certificate notes she was from Ireland and lists a son, William DELANEY. Since I don't know what records are available for the San Francisco area in CA, I don't know exactly waht to ask for. If William Delaney was born in CA about 1883, would there be a birth records available? I don't know when or where Mary HUGHES became COLLINS or who she married. I don't know how her son became William Delaney. There is quite a story about this woman and her days in Alaska, but there are still many missing pieces of the puzzle. I just don't know where to look.
