Hello, We are looking for descendants of the SCHAEFER siblings who emigrated to San Francisco. In 1894 Karl SCHAEFER, born on 21 Oct 1875 in Unter Sensbach, Germany, emigrated with his sister Maria SCHAEFER, born on 30 Aug 1877, to the United States of America. On 20 Aug 1894 they arrived at Castle Garden, NY. They moved to San Francisco where the siblings Adam SCHAEFER, born 28 Oct 1873, Jacob SCHAEFER, born 9 Jan 1866 and Sophia SCHAEFER already lived. They were all born in the same little village Unter Sensbach, Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany as children of Johann Peter SCHAEFER and his wife Margarete Elisabeth nee SCHWINN. Adam and Karl/Carl SCAEFER had a painting shop (459 Valencia St) and Jacob was a painter (2753 Army St) too. In Sept. 1906 Karl SCHAEFER went back to Germany got married, had 4 children and died in Reinheim, Germany in 1943. Any advice and help to find or get in contact with relatives of these SCHAEFER siblings would be very appreciated. Klaus-Peter Found Adam, and his family in the 1910 Census, he was married to a Fannie, maiden name Fiedler, in about 1899, there 5 children born to them with 3 living in 1910, Eva, age 10; Anton, age 5; Adam G., age 1 1/2. In 1930 they had two more children, Frances C. a daughter, age 19; William M, age 12. Anton Henry Schaefer M.D., died 1946-09-30, born 1905-02-10, looks like he was a faculty member of the University of the California. Never married, it looks like. Fannie, (Frances) died 1959-12-20, born 1881-06-18, she was born in San Francisco. Adam, 1961-04-14, born 1873-10-28 Adam G. the son, died 1983-10-09, born 198\08-12-24; married Miss Valda Norton, on 1935-06-01.
