    3. Sue, Here's my 2 cents about Ancestry: I live about 35 miles from Salt Lake City and the Family History Library. (SF Bay Area native and resident for 60 yrs) I thought there was no reason for me to sign up for Ancestry since I could go to the Library any day! Wrong. It's so much easier to do the census work at home. I don't use much of their other offerings as I can never find what I'm looking for. The census sheets on my computer are much easier and clearer than looking at the LDS films that you used to have to look up in an index book, then get the film, load it, find the city/township you are looking for. I do know that the Fam Hist Lib has Ancestry on all their computers in the Library and it is free to search for anyone wanting to use it. They did call me when my renewal was up last month and I signed up again, just for the use of the census. There was no pressure and I could have declined their offer. I've been at genealogy for 30 years, so I've done most my work, but I love finding way-out cousins and of course genealogy is never ending! Go for it.
