Hello, I know marriage lookups are not usually done on this site but I just saw a CD Data base online and it doesn't work on MACs I'm not sure it this info is any different than what's on Vital search or not. (I don't have the premium membership) The Title is: Marriages (Western) 1850-1951 Arizona, California, Idaho, and Nevada, 1850-1951 Marriage Index Which to me sounds like I should try and see if a few of my problem relatives are on here! Albert Johnson m. Mary Matilda McLaughlin (late 1880-1881) William E. Dean to Annie McLaughlin (1898-1900) Milton Kraft to Olive McLaughlin (1900 approx.) Unfortunately this is all on one family and three of their girls, of who I can't find. I tried all the Catholic Churches and NO has records. It's possible they were married at St. Patrick's were I think all records are gone. Anyway if some has this disk I would love it they could lookup any or all of my names. If I had Dates I could really pin point my searches. Please note: I do have all the Censuses on these people and I have all there children I have also checked on SFCall database. Second, you can try this site: http://abish.byui.edu/specialCollections/westernStates/search.cfm Third, have you already looked for these marriages in the San Francisco CALL database? mary...I just clicked on the abish.byui site...and, for the fun of it, entered my father's name...and selected Idaho (I have never been able to track down his first marriage...but his great aunt told me she thought maybe he'd married an "injun girl" from out west!!! So, I selected Idaho....and up it came!!!! I almost fell out of my chair!! Then I tried all the other states, including California where I KNOW he was married at least once...he married my mother in SF in 1937....but zero!!! Question: On the one I did retrieve...is there a way to get a copy of the marriage cert, and if so, what's the process, if you know. Gadzoooooks....I am really floored!
