Hello Marie... Remember what the author said...given names were reduced to initials..... There are the following: HARRISON, A.M., ..ship OREGON,steamer, from Panama. Arrived July 20,1850. SHARP/E: SHARPE, H:...ship MONUMENTAL CITY..steamer..from San Juan del Sur, Nicaraqua. Arrived, May 14, 1852 in san Diego, and left for San Francisco the next day. There was a HENRY SHARP (breaking the tradition of only initials...:) ), but not Harold. BARRERE....none found. There is a Mr. BARRIERE and he has NO initials or first name. Hope this helps...
