I've "rescued" an old photograph of Charles LITTLEFIELD which was taken at the Vaughan's Studio in San Francisco, California. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's with Charles appearing to be about 1 year old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding this family: Charles V. LITTLEFIELD b. 5 Feb 1878 in San Francisco, CA to parents Sheldon E. LITTLEFIELD (b. 18 Feb 1834 in Boxboro, MA) and Nancy SOUTHWOOD (b. 13 Jun 1853 in Wyoming Territory during covered wagon trip to CA). Charles died on 12 Feb 1879 in San Francisco, CA. The couple had a total of 10 children including, Sheldon Alfred; Francis Tyler; Mamie; Eva Harriet; Charles V.; Lillian Ellen; Arthur L.; Joyce F.; Maude Alice; and George Taylor LITTLEFIELD all born in San Francisco except the last child George born in Anaheim, CA between 1871 and 1898. I am hoping to locate someone from this LITTLEFIELD Family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to the care of this family.
