Need date of death in San Francisco for MICHAEL JOSEPH DONOVAN born ca 1847 in Ireland. He died between 1891 and 1900. His wife's name was Lizzie M. Donovan. In the 1890 SF Directory he was listed with his younger brother Joseph J. Donovan as Painters & Whiteners at 1717 Market Street. Michael resided at 1633 Ellis street. According to SF Historical Abstracts in 1897 Michael served as State Senator 1875-76 and 1877-1878. There were too many Michael Donovans in SF to locate a cemetery record so I need a date of death for this MICHAEL JOSEPH DONOVAN. Any help would be appreciated. Ruth Armstrong armstron@silcon.com
