    3. Yes, there is a book on Noe Valley, SF in the Images of America Series books.. It's available at Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/San-Franciscos-Valley-Images-America/dp/0738529052 I don't have a copy to see what is had to show on your family's grocery store - sorry..     3. Bill Yenne wrote SAN FRANCISCO'S NOE VALLEY for Arcadia Press (Images of America). He's the author of SAN FRANCISCO THEN & NOW. Either of those books may have it.
