Research time again - What was inside the dome of San Francisco's Call Building, also called the Spreckels Building & now, Central Tower at 703 Market Street? The 15th floor housed the Spreckels Rotisserie. The 16th through the 19th floors? The classic Baroque dome was replaced by an ugly stone box in 1938. Thanks! Jim -- James R. Geez - just answered my own question. They were actually built out as offices. The original architects, James & Merritt Reid occupied the 18th floor. However, I am looking for any trivia about the building or the SF Call newspaper. Jim James R.
