Here's some basic information found at Ancestry.com: Name: Edith Gwynn Social Security #: 543107927 Sex: FEMALE Birth Date: 16 Apr 1917 Birthplace: Washington Death Date: 22 Jun 1940 Death Place: San Francisco Mother's Maiden Name: Anderson FATHER'S SURNAME: Redfern According to the 1920 Census (taken Jan. 8 & 9), in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, George and Edith were her parents. They had 2 other children at that time, both sons, Kenneth G. (Age 12) and Charles H.(Age 10). It appears they all came from Canada in 1913; Edith was born in Washington State. She is 2 years, 8 months old, which would be confirmation of the April 1917 birth date above. In the 1930 Census, they are all still in Portland. Mother Edith's birth place is New Zealand in this census. I'm sending these censuses as attachments to you directly as we are unable to do so within the listing system.
