I've "rescued" an old photograph simply identified as "Mr. KOHRN" which was taken at the Bryan Studio in San Francisco, California. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1860's or 1870's with Mr. KOHRN likely in his 30's or 40's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate a possible match in census records as follows: 1880 census of San Francisco, CA: William KOHRN, age 42, a Grocer, born Germany, parents born Germany Mary KOHRN, wife, age 41, Keeping House, born Germany, parents born Germany Adeline KOHRN, dau, age 20, at Home, born Germany William KOHRN, son, age 17, at Home, born Germany John KOHRN, son, age 13, at School, born CA Minnie KOHRN, dau, age 5, born CA I am hoping to locate someone from this KOHRN Family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to their care.
