    1. [CASANFRA] SCHWABACHER Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph identified simply as Mr. SCHWABACHER. The photograph was taken at the Jacob Shew Studio in San Francisco, California, likely sometime in the 1860's or 1870's. Mr. SCHWABACHER appears to be in his 30's or 40's at the time the photograph was taken. I am hoping to locate someone from his family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of his family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    3. In 1922, it looks like the Schwabachers had a thriving stationery company: http://www.distantcousin.com/Directories/CA/SanFrancisco/1922/Pages.asp?Page=1455 I wonder if you might be able to track them down through old records that way! I love that you "rescue" old photographs -- I do the same thing! v On Wed, Jul 9, 2008 at 7:12 AM, Shelley Cardiel <cardiels@comcast.net> wrote: > I've "rescued" an old photograph identified simply as Mr. SCHWABACHER.
