Hi Listers, I am wondering if anyone has heard of "Journal of a Voyage From Boston to San Francisco in 1849" edited by Carroll D. Hall, Redwood City, California, 1933. Journal written by a young man who sailed from Boston for California as a member of The Boston and California Mining and Trading Joint Stock Company, organized to seek its fortune in the newly discovered gold fields. It is a straightforward account of the voyage around the Horn.........on the ship Edward Everett arrived San Francisco in July 1849. B. Keller, Carmel Valley, CA
