    1. Re: [CASANFRA] True Birth Parents
    2. hi- my mom's cousin was adoped by mom's great aunt. (rumor had it my grandmom was her bio. mom and she was adopted within the family) All persons involved in the adoption died years ago. ( the last one in the 1960's) I contacted Sacto Adoption Center for the state- was given an address to write to to request copies of the adoption papers and info. I included copies of death certs for all parties involved. They stood firm in the ruling stating a letter of request must come from the adotpee and any bio. siblings before the info will be released. The adoptee died in the early 50's. I have never been able to prove the family rumor that my mom's cousin was actually her sister. Good luck to you!
