Wow, that is interesting. In my face there also was no body retrieved yet I do have a death certificate. I'll have to dig it out & go over it again just to look at it. I believe it was taken to court to prove she was deceased. I'd start with calling who ever is in charge of the SF-Oak Bay Bridge and see who is the -agency in charge of "jumpers" on that bridge. I haven't heard of too many people jumping off that bridge. Good luck, Theresa Sacramento "James R. Smith" <jim@historysmith.com> wrote: Hi Theresa, It was the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. I had a similiar problem and called the Golden Gate Bridge people first CHP I believe it was. They had told me that all deaths that occur because of jumping off the Golden Gate bridge are recorded in Marin Co. I wrote to Marin Co. for the certificate I was looking for and they sent it to me. It was for a death in 1967-68. Good luck, Theresa "James R. Smith" <jim@historysmith.com> wrote: Hi Linda, Gordon jumped off the Bay Bridge on October 21, 1955.
