Cassandra: I was born in San Francisco in 1924 and was adopted. Although I am now 84 years of age I cannot obtain my true birth certificate from either San Francisco or Sacramento. How long does this freeze continue and is there any way of otherwise finding out who my real birth parents were. I tired directly at the City of SF records center, but they deferred to Sacramento and cited the "freeze". Thank you, Marilouise
