You should be able to contact Marin Co for death certificate. I had a similiar problem and called the Golden Gate Bridge people first CHP I believe it was. They had told me that all deaths that occur because of jumping off the Golden Gate bridge are recorded in Marin Co. I wrote to Marin Co. for the certificate I was looking for and they sent it to me.
