I have been told that the Oakland Library Oakland Main Public Library 125 14th Street Newspaper Room Oakland, Ca. 94612 510-238-3176 will check for newspaper obituaries for $2 an obituary. Has anyone used this service and if so, do you send in the money and a SASE and then wait for possible obituary return? Do they send back the money if they don't find an obituary or do they just keep it and give you a negative response? Thanks, Sandra
