San Benito Way is only a couple of blocks east of Commodore Sloat elementary school (50 Darien Way - the back of the school is on the corner of Ocean Avenue and Junipero Serra Blvd). Aptos Middle School (used to be a junior high) is a couple of blocks east of San Benito.
