They had four children: Ida Hazel MORRIS who married Charles HARRIS; Amos MORRIS who married - name unknown; Harvey Lane MORRIS; and Edith MORRIS who married Francis AVERILL. I believe their vital records were destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. Only other information is that Amos is believed to have fought in the Indian Wars and was stationed in San Francisco. After his marriage he worked in a printing business and lost an arm in an accident. Elizabeth might have had a sister living in San Francisco. Amos and Elizabeth MORRIS are the grandparents of an elderly friend of mine. He is very keen to find any information he can. I have advised him to search census records but can anyone offer him any other avenues of research - I have already searched the CADI and SSDI. I am very knowledgeable about researching in my own country but have only a very limited knowledge of USA research. With thanks Barbara Thamm NSW, Australia
