The San Francisco Library, will be putting on a book talk and slide show on December 1, at 2 p.m.- 4 p.m., in the Latino/ Hispanic Community Meeting Room B, at the Main Library. It will be done by author Mae Silver, who talk about her new book that traces the history of many San Francisco neighborhoods. Rancho San Miguel, owned by Jose de Jesus Noe, evolved into Noe Valley, Eureka Valley, the Castro, Twin Peaks, Glen Park, Ingleside Terraces and others.
