Hello Debi, I do not know this family but you said you were new at this so here is sine info I picked up on line, I think this is your Verne, TRIMBLE, VERNE F DOB...12/27/1908 mother maiden Martin father name...Thompson born in CALIFORNIA Co. of death...SAN FRANCISCO DOD...08/21/1983 ss# ...557-09-3416 age...74 yrs I got this info from the CA death index, here is the url for it: http://vitals.rootsweb.com/ca/death/search.cgi You can get an obit by using this procedure: The San Francisco Main Library has many old San Francisco newspapers on microfilm.   You can write or e-mail them to request a lookup at no charge.   They will check up to 6 days after the death date.   There is a limit of three lookup requests at one time. You MUST provide the exact date of death.
