Who can take a picture of 123 California Street in San Francisco for me ? (if there hasn't been any renumbering) In 1898 this building was the Office of J.M. Curtis (James Marvin), gauger, Room 27, 123 California St.. I have a journey report written on paper of JM Curtis and in the heading you can read: "The Specific Gravity, Dry Extract, Alcohol, Sugar (Cane or Grape), Free Acid, Tannin, and other constituents of Wines or Grape Syrups Determined by accurate methods. Telephone 690". Does 2518 Union St., San Francisco also still exists ? This has to be the place where JM Curtis lived (around 1900). I am specially interested in his daughter Elizabeth Curtis (b. 1865), an artist and writer of "Harry Butters, R. F. A., An American citizen: life and war letters" (1918) .
