Thank you to those of you who responded to my question yesterday. It never seems to fail that just as soon as I begin wondering about something that I am expecting it comes the next day! I was concerned that maybe I had not sent it off properly, thanks again for confirming the email address for me. I did receive the obituary today. What a great service they are doing at the library. Having received this I have another couple questions. First, what papers do they actually have access to there at the library? Second, if an obituary is in more than one paper is it likely to have the same information in each paper. I know that there are always exceptions to any rule but a general rule of thumb could be helpful, especially since the family was not of the wealthy or socially elite. The obituary I received was from the SF Examiner, but I do know that it is also available in the Call. I found it in the online index for births, marriages and deaths found in the Call. I am new to research in San Francisco so would appreciate any help I can receive in this matter. Thanks, JanaLee
