I could sure use some advise. I have found my 3 Grandparents on the Ellis Island website but I cannot locate the 4th. On my Grandfather's Alien Registration form from 1940 he had declared he arrived as a passenger in San Francisco, not New York. His name was Bernard Schwickerath. He said he arrived on September 17, 1888 in San Francisco. He was coming from Germany. Does anyone know where I could inquire about European passengers disembarking in San Francisco?
