Hi Listmembers, Someone has inquired about an area in San Francisco, circa 1890-1906, called "Scotch Hill". The Queen Lily Soap Factory was supposedly located there. I've never heard of either. Any help? Thanks in advance. Hi Pam- Potrero Hill was once called Scotch Hill, (where the Scotchmen lived) according to _This is San Francisco_. It mentions that many of the Scotchmen worked at the Scott Iron Works. Nothing in this reference for Queen Lily Soap.
