The shows were recorded before a live audience in the Bancroft Library's Heller Reading Room. The first program, "The Hispanization of California, 1769-1846" aires at 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan 10. Additional programs- "America Only More So: The Origins and Power of California's Image" and "Heaven on the Half-Shell: Mark Twain in the West" - will air at 8 p.m. on Jan 17 and 24, respectively. For more information, call 415 642-3781. George p.s. I was at the recording of second show, and it looks like they could be interesting shows. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Check out Yahoo! Shopping and Yahoo!
