Cornelius Philander Bandy was born to my great great grandfather's brother Calvin B. Bandy and his wife Violet M. Bandy. According to my records he was born in Sacramento County in November 1855. He was married to Hattie B. Costello on 17 December 1883. They had Leslie Costello Bandy on 10 September 1884. C.P died on 27 December 1916. He spent most of his adult life as a mail carrier.
