It appears they had recently arrived in Sacramento from Portage, WI. William WOOLSTON, his wife Jane, and children, Charles, Jennie, John and Samuel. (Jennie Woolston's death has been found in CA Deaths - 19 Feb 1951, born 16 Apr 1873 - this birth date fits exactly with my ancestor, so am sure this is the right family). Have only just discovered that the family moved to CA and would therefore appreciate some help where to start. Would like to find out what happened to them and if there are descendants. There were other children, William James, Mary Ellen and Louisa (all born Scotland) who do not appear on the 1900 census list for that household. Many thanks.
