Philip But there might be a birth certificate for her, showing that it was a "Stillbirth". Also I saw birth certificate at the Oakland Library, for a baby, who died a few days after it's birth, and on the birth certificate is the date of death and there was also a death certificate for it, very interesting. The reason that that happened I think was at the time a doctor or the midwife who delivered the baby would turn in the birth certificate once a month. So there may well not have been a published "Birth Notice". I have been unable to find a listing in the Union or Bee on that date. I am wondering if this was actually a daughter of my ggrandfather, Henry Eugene. We do not know when he started using the name Eugene, and this may have been an earlier form. We know this was not his birth name. Any ideas on how to find more information on this baby? Does the County Recorder have records that old? Also, the Cemetery list states that she is in tier 27 1/2 grave 29. Any ideas on how to find this in the cemetery?
