Died suddenly at the home of Mrs. Ruth Mitchell in Lodi on Oct 30, 1931. Survived by widow, Mrs. Havilah Bayless. Native of CA. Remains at O. H. Wells and Sons. Internment Lodi Cemetery. I copied the Funeral announcement from Lodi paper because it has names of the pall bearers. Transcribed DC for Cornelius P. Bandy, son of Calvin and Violet. Survivors are listed in his obit. Wife was Hattie C. Bandy (maiden name Costello) She was born Nov 7 1864 and died May 7 1952 in Sacramento. (Elk Grove) Native of Napa. Surving child is Leslie C. Bandy of Los Angeles at this time. Wife was an Ellie M born about 1871 in Iowa. Had the following children. Frieda about 1897, Norma B about 1901, Willis E born on 11-06-1909 and died in 1964 in Napa county. I am trying to obtain information on Calvin B. Bandy married to Violet Bandy Bayless. I believe he came to Sacto County around 1852 with his brothers. In the 1930's this address - 1014 14th Street, in Sacramento, CA - was occupied by a lady a researcher is trying to trace. How would we find who owned that property in the 1930's? Currently it is where the Convention Center is now. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Sandra
