Hello Carters! I am trying to find anything on my ggg-grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Carter. She was born around 1801 in TN and died in Granbury, TX about 1880. Her father was John Carter and her brother was Edmund Carter, born in VA. Edmund was about 13 years younger than Sarah. Sarah (Sallie) married Amon Bond in Blount Co TN on 10-12-1818. She had 17 children, including three sets of twins, in TN before moving to TX in the 1850's. Edmund was living with Sarah and Amon in the 1840 or 1850 TN census (this info is at home and I can't remember). She was supposedly half Cherokee, so I assume her mother was full Cherokee. I would love to know her mother's name and more about her father. Any help is appreciated. Terry
