Hello. My name is Sherry. My grandmother's maiden name was Jones. Her brother's name was Ernie Jones and was adopted by a family whose surname was Carter (TX), I believe. My grandmother's mothers' maiden name was Barber (Barbour), and her grandmother or great-grandmother walked The Trail of Tears. My grandma was born in Vinita, OK about 1905, May 30th.
