I wanted to tell all of you that I appreciate getting the Giles Carter information. I just found out within the last week that I am a descendant, through daughter Suzanne, who married Thomas Williamson. I have done Carter research for years, looking for ancestors of Isaac (RW soldier, moved to Pike County, MS) and had looked into just about all the lines. Does anyone have more details on the first couple of generations of Giles Carter's family? I am also looking for an Ann Carter, who married William Lee, in Virginia, not sure of exact time frame.
