Mea Culpa! I am not from Gyles CARTER line, at least I don't think so. I hope I can be forgiven for using information given to me by someone descended from Gyles. In trying to be a responsible researcher, I am in the process of, hopefully,proving one and disproving 4 other ancestries for my gr gr grandfather, Joseph CARTER, that are floating on the Web and attached to several WFT CDs. At least my error generated activity that may be of invaluable help to others from Gyles line. Anyone who is tracing their CARTER line to Gyles CARTER and Elizabeth TRACY dau of Sir Paul TRACY I have some evidence that this particular Gyles died childless. Lynn Marion
