I'm really getting confused on John Hill CARTER b. 1757 m. Philadelphia CLAIBORNE in 1771 and died abt. 1773. I've seen him listed as the son of Charles (1732 - 1806) of Corotoman and Shirley and 1st wife Mary W. CARTER of Cleve and also Charles of Cleve and 2nd wife Ann Byrd. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Jean
