    3. Hi Cousins, this may seem crazy, but in going through some papers that my Aunt Billie sent to me, I found 1 & 1/2 sheets of paper with bits and pieces of information from various sources. I will post it here, because it may be of value to someone. Capitalized Items in <> are my comments. Three books are represented, Surry Va. Census and Sussex Va. Census. There is one mention of a marriage bond 1777, in Surry, Va., between George GARDNER and Lucy WARREN. Don't know how they are related to CARTERs.
