THOMAS CARTER b. 1723 in VA - children: Abendego, Shadrack, Nicholas,Barnabas,Meschack b. abt 1745 VA. MESHACK m. ELIZABETH and had child JOSEPH b. 1766 in VA JOSEPH m. unk and had child named JOSEPH b. 1804 Cumberland, KY JOSEPPH married ANN ELIZABETH SIDWELL. He fought in the Revolutionary War and was given land as payment for war service. His children were: WILLIAM CARTER b. abt 1824 PARLEE b. abt 1826 DAVID b. abt 1830 JOSHUA JASPER b. 1832 McDonough, ILL (my gggrandfather) POLLY B. 1834 GEORGE b 1835 JAMES b 1837 Both George and Joshua married THARP girls. I need HELP on this line and will appreciate anything anyone can offer! I do have quite a bit of CARTER/THARP/HEUSTON info to exchange.
