As far as the will, Robert Carter named quite a few people in his will and it is not clear which one(s) he meant as his "kinsman." The language read: "... my honorable and good friends and relations..." and goes on to mention 6 persons, one of which is Mann Page (in fact, Mann was the first mentioned after "good friends and relations").
