I have been researching LeRoy CARTER of Jackson County, TN, b. abt. 1841 to Enoch and Mariah CARTER. I'm developing a theory that links this LeRoy CARTER to various events, some criminal, which took place as part of a CARTER family feud, which came to a climax around 1872-1873. I'd appreciate any information on this LeRoy CARTER known to occur after 1873, as well as any information on his Tennessee family: his wife, Parolie, b. abt. 1848; their son, James. M. CARTER, b. abt. 1878; and their daughter, Mariah J. CARTER, b. abt. 1880.
