    3. Hello Ellen; I also belong to the "Hooper" mailing list. One of my Carter's married into that line. Each time one of our list subscribers, writes or sees a book or manuscript regarding the "Hooper's".. they post it- and we all scramble to get a copy. I do not see that there is much difference in advising one of where they can write or go to obtain information regarding the interests of a mailing list- than that of what you have done. The hidden truth is- any where there is information, there is always a profit to be made by someone... even if it is only in photocopy. I personally do not feel that you have "Spamed" our list, and I am truly sorry that some of the others feel differently. I bet you have already been flooded with offers for your book. Thank-you for making that information available to the one that gets it. linda ---------- From: Ellen Byrne <dande@mail.tds.net> To: CARTER-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [CARTER-L] John Carter of Va book Date: Wednesday, January 13, 1999 3:34 PM I have a book for sale, Descendants of John Carter of Va-it lists 12 generations and is indexed.
