To those who are subscribes to the Carter list as well as any other family list. Please bear in mind that these lists are to aid people who are researching their families. All of us are not researching the same lines or common ancestors. It would be nice if there could be seperate lists for each individual immigrant ancestor with their descendants posted down from them to ourselves. But, until that time we as individuals will have to put up with some information that appears to be of little or no use to us. We can always delete it. Although my Carter family line expires after two generations (Giles Carter and his daughter Susannah), I still read and study what has been posted. If I am not interested, I delete it. So to those of you who take the time to post this information for the benefit of others, I say "Good Job". If you help locate one ancestor of one person, then I say "Thank you". And guess what?
